Diana Hamilton
Gospel artiste Diana Hamilton has donated items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to the New Life Nungua Children’s Home in Accra.
Some of the items she donated include toilet rolls, drinks, cooking oils, bags of rice, among other items.
Presenting the items to the management of the home, Diana Hamilton said the donation was her widow’s mite of helping bring comfort to the needy in the society.
She stressed that the donation was a dream come true, and assured the orphanage of more of such donations in the future.
The gospel artiste, who wants to make a difference in the lives of the needy, said the donation formed part of her resolve to give back to society.
The award-winning musician called on corporate institutions to support them financially to aid them support more children.
The founder of the orphanage, Nii Afotey Botwe II, thanked the Diana Hamilton and her foundation for their continuous support and called on other individuals and organisations to follow her footstep by showing love to the less privileged in society.
