Driver Involved In DCEs Car Crash Is Dead!

The driver of the Mercedes Benz that collided with the vehicle in which the District Chief Executives were travelling in, Zakaria Karim, has died at the Tamale Teaching Hospital.

The Head of the Accident and Emergency Department at the Tamale Teaching Hospital, Dr Godfred Takyi, confirmed the death of the driver to journalists.

He said the driver died on Monday, June 24, 2019.

The deceased accordingly sustained serious injuries on the head and legs during the crash.

According to the Doctor, the DCEs for Bimbila, Abdulai Yakubu and Gushegu, Issah Musah have been discharged.

However, the Zabzugu DCE, Ahmed Abukari Iddrisu, and Mion DCE ,Mohammed Hashim Abdullah, are still receiving treatment at the Tamale Teaching Hospital.

It would be recalled that four District Chief Executives (DCEs) were involved in a gory car crash at Datoyili in the Northern Region last week.
