Ebony Reigns’ funeral clothes unveiled

Ruff Town Records/ Midas Touch Inc. and family of late Ebony Reigns have officially launched three clothes on behalf of the artiste.

The clothes will not only be the official garment for the final funeral rites but also be a part of Ebony’s legacy. The cloths will include brands such as ‘Maame Hw?’, ‘Sponsor’ and ‘Aseda’.

The Maame Hw?’ and Aseda clothes will be used for the late dancehall artiste’s funeral and also for the thanksgiving service by music lovers, friends and family.

The unveiling ceremony which was held at the West Hills Mall, Accra, was attended by the management of Ruff Town Records, family members of the late musician, representatives from Ghana Textile Printing Company Limited (GTP) and a section of music lovers and fans of the late dancehall artiste.

However, the purpose of the new designs clothes, according to the management of GTP, is to create a new brand inspired by the artiste. The other designs are set to be launched later this year.

Ebony died after she was involved in a gory accident on the Kumasi–Sunyani road on February 8, 2018 when she was returning to Accra from Sunyani.

Her friend, Franky Kuri, and a military man, Atsu Vondee, who is said to be her bodyguard, on board a Jeep from Sunyani also died in the head-on collision with a VIP bus heading towards Sunyani from Kumasi.
