Rich cultural display and funfair characterized the commissioning of the Ga South new office complex at Ngleshie Amanfrom, near Kasoa.

In his address, the Ga South Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Joseph Nyarni Stephen, said “This marks an important beginning of development for the people in this municipality. In the past, the assembly rented an office for its operations; making rendering of services difficult.”

He added “We will ensure that this facility assumes a centre of excellence status, and that can only be achieved in a decent environment like this.

“This magnificent edifice worth almost GH¢1.5 million houses offices, residential accommodation and office logistics. I would like to thank President Akufo-Addo for the creation of this municipality, indeed it has helped in the creative development as local government.

“We also want to thank the chiefs and elders of the land for their continuous support in pushing our development agenda.”

The ceremony also witnessed the assembly’s distribution of 28 motorbikes to 28 assemblymen aimed at making them more mobile in the discharge of their respective daily duties.
