GAC Gets New Director General

Kyeremeh Atuahene

President Akufo-Addo has appointed Kyeremeh Atuahene as the new Director General of the Ghana AIDS Commission (GAC).

Mr. Atuahene, whose appointment took effect from July 3, 2018, replaced Dr. Mokowa Blay Adu- Gyamfi, who was reassigned as the presidential advisor for HIV/AIDS.

Before his appointment, Mr Atuahene was the Director for Research, Monitoring & Evaluation at GAC.

A letter signed by the Director of Administration at GAC, Anthony Appiah-Nti Obeng, and dated July 31, 2018 appealed to all partners, collaborators and stakeholders to accord Mr Kyeremeh Atuahene the necessary courtesies he would require to ensure a successful tenure.
