GFA Chief Marks Birthday In Style

Kurt Okraku (2nd L) presenting one of the items to a resident

Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku marked his birthday in style on Monday.

He turned 49 three days ago, and marking the milestone, he took to the streets and celebrated the day by sharing face masks and hand sanitizers to the residents of Ashale Botwey, a suburb of Accra.

He advised the people to abide by the COVID-19 health and safety protocols by wearing face masks, avoid handshaking, frequent washing of hands with soap under running water, social distancing, eating/ sleeping well and training regularly.

To him, life is precious; hence the decision to distribute the items amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Millions of well-wishers, particularly those from the football world, sent fraternal and goodwill wishes to the GFA chief.
