The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has rewarded five clubs with buses in recognition of their outstanding performances during the 2024/25 season.
GFA President Kurt Edwin Okraku presented the keys to Eleven Wonders FC, Swedru Black Stars and Port City FC, as well as Women’s Premier League sides Police Ladies FC and Dreamz FC, under the Association’s Merit Awards Programme.
The initiative forms part of the GFA’s broader efforts to recognise excellence in domestic football while addressing the logistical challenges confronting clubs across the country.
With the latest presentation, the number of buses distributed to Women’s Premier League and Division One League clubs under the GFA’s comprehensive Bus Strategy has risen to 18.
The Association has also improved its own transport capacity through support secured under the FIFA Forward Programme, strengthening its ability to facilitate football activities and operations nationwide.
