Abigail Afiba Tandoh
A Ghanaian lady, Abigail Afiba Tandoh, has been declared missing in Nigeria while on a visit with a female friend.
The young woman’s mysterious disappearance has compelled the Nigerian Police Force to launch a search for her.
According to reports, Abigail Afiba Tandoh went to Nigeria with her friend, Celine Ndudim, who is from Nigeria.
There is strong suspicion that Afiba has been abducted in the commercial city of Aba, Abia State, Nigeria.
Abigail Afiba Tandoh, whose passport number is G3907849, travelled with Celine Ndudim to Nigeria to attend a friend’s wedding.
The wedding ceremony was reportedly put off and the Ghanaian lady decided to engage in other business ventures, when she allegedly disappeared.
According to sources, following the cancelation of the wedding, Afiba and Celine met with another acquaintance, Adiani Blessing Onyinye, whose wedding was called off on April 19, 2024 at Garden Heights Estate in GRA, Port Harcourt.
Following that, on April 27, 2024, the two travelled to Aba, Abia State, to meet Celine’s partner about a business deal based on pet-related ventures – Afiba’s area of expertise.
Afiba and Celine promised to return by April 29 and were last spotted at the Panyu Hotel and Resort in Abia before disappearing.
Concerns about the two women’s fate grew substantially after reports surfaced on Sunday, April 28, indicating a possible kidnapping scenario.
An urgent message sent via WhatsApp from Afiba Tandoh’s phone featured a live location tag, ordering the recipient—a mutual contact in Port Harcourt—to notify authorities immediately.
In response to this distress call, the Aba Anti Kidnapping Squad was immediately notified, advocating collaborative efforts with the Nigeria Police Force to speed search and rescue operations in the pursuit of identifying the missing victims.
The confusion surrounding Abigail Afiba Tandoh’s abduction in a foreign country, combined with familial distress and official concern, has heightened the urgency of determining the circumstances underlying this disappearance.
