Gospel artiste Gifty Osei tied the nuptial knot on Friday, December 28 with Hopeson Adorye, who is the Deputy National Security Coordinator in-charge of Airports.
The private wedding ceremony, held in Tema, was hosted by comedienne and television personality Afia Schwarzenegger.
The wedding ceremony attracted families of the couple, top government officials, among others.
A handful of Gifty Osei’s friends in the showbiz industry attended the ceremony, a source told BEATWAVES.
The award-winning Gifty Osei is known for hit songs like ‘Aseda’, ‘Adom’ ‘Ayeyi’, ‘Kamafo,’ among others.
She was crowned the best gospel artiste of the year 2018 at the National Gospel Music Awards ceremony held in Kumasi on December 22, 2018.
Gifty Osei beat stiff competition from Joe Mettle, Jack Alolome, Diana Antwi Hamilton, Akesse Brimpong and Patience Nyarko to the award.
She also won the best album of the year with ‘Ebenezer’ at the awards ceremony.
