Give Akufo-Addo Four More Years – Aburihene

OTUBOUR Gyan Kwasi, Chief of Aburi, who is the Adontenhene of the Okuapeman Traditional Council in the Eastern Region has appealed to Ghanaians to vote massively for President Akufo-Addo on 7th December 2020.

Explaining his reasons, he said, “Just as Atta Mills said, you need to support your own and Nana Akufo-Addo is a true son of Okuapman and our own, therefore we need to support him so he can continue with his good work, four more for Nana”.

He said that the people of Okuapeman should not hesitate to vote for the NPP Presidential candidate because he is one of their own and needs their support.

The Chief of Aburi made this declaration when President Akufo-Addo stormed Aburi Girls High School on Monday as part of his regional tour to canvass for votes from the residents.

Otubour Gyan Kwasi thereafter presented a traditional cloth called “Mawere” and a design stool called “Gye Nyame” to the President, signifying the continuity of his Presidency.

The Aburihene commended President Akufo-Addo for the implementation of the Free SHS policy among others by saying he believes that the sitting President deserves another term to continue his good work.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on his behalf reacted to Aburihene’s endorsement by expressing his genuine gratitude to him.
“I am happy at your reception and endorsement and I am honestly grateful for your love and acceptance”, he said.

He pleaded with the people to vote for him if they are satisfied with his work so he can have another four years to do more for them.

“I will also add that if you all are satisfied with my work and I didn’t come to deceive any of you within the four years that I have served you, and I have done tremendously well then I plead with you to grant the opportunity to be your president again so I can continue the good work I have started.

President Akufo-Addo also commended the Free Senior High School graduates for passing successfully and gaining good results, in the WASSCE.

He ended his speech by telling the people to vote in their numbers on 7th December for all NPP candidates.
