GLO MOBILE Ghana has begun rewarding its top agents, canvassers, retailers and freelancers across Ghana.
On Monday in Accra, the company presented various prizes to winners. The presentations were done over a 10-day period in various parts of the country, with strict observance of government-approved health and safety protocols on Covid-19.
Some of these included mobile phones, blenders, pressing irons and gas stoves.
Over 800 winners are receiving their assured prizes across the country in this reward scheme. Apart from Accra, presentation of prizes will also be done in Ashaiman, Kasoa, Kumasi, Koforidua, Ho, Cape Coast and Takoradi.
The company intends to also reward its agents who have shown consistency and quality in meeting their targets over the duration of the promotion. The prizes include microwave ovens, smart-phones, home theatre systems, 40inch smart TVs and motorbikes.
Glo Mobile Head of Business, Hardeep Kheterpal, said the distribution of the prizes was put on hold in April due to the lockdown occasioned by the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic across the world and, especially, in Ghana. With the success of the steps put in place by the government to keep Ghanaians safe and bring the economy back to life, the company decided to go ahead with rewarding the winners.
“This is just a fraction of the huge benefits coming the way of our existing and new activation agents, canvassers, retailers and freelancers as the exciting promo continues in July and August,” he said, while also promising more exciting times for subscribers on Glo network.
Some winners, who received the assured prizes, disclosed their excitement with such a transparent scheme and promised to continue to do their best to win the various grand prizes on offer.
