The maiden edition of the Gutsy Women’s Foundation Conference, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to empowering women and girls, is set to take place on March 28, 2024.

The conference, themed, ‘Inspiring Inclusion: The State of Today’s Woman’, will be hosted at the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), University of Ghana at 1pm.

Speaking to Beatwaves, the Event Organiser, Raynelle Nana Yaa Boadu, said the Gutsy Women’s Foundation Conference seeks to bring together women from diverse backgrounds, ages, and professions.

“The conference will serve as a platform for networking, personal growth, and empowerment. Attendees will engage in thought-provoking sessions, workshops, and panel discussions led by influential speakers,” she said.

Yaa Boadu further indicated that the conference aims to equip women with the tools they need to thrive personally, professionally, and psychologically.

“This three-pronged approach is our foundation for achieving sustainable development and fostering peace in Ghana, with a mission to cultivate a society where women and girls are recognised, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential,” Yaa Boadu added.
