One of the segments of the Hajj 2023 Orientation was held at the National Mosque in Accra on Saturday.
The about three hundred registered prospective pilgrims of the Al Balad Travel and Tours Agency were taken through medical screening and lectures about the pilgrimage.
For first time international travelers, the programme was invaluable.
The Executive Secretary of the Ghana Hajj Board Secretariat, Haj Farouk Hamza, who had just touched down in Accra after hosting a similar exercise for others in Yendi and Tamale, supported the National Mosque version with remarks which could only add to what others had lectured them on.
The Hajj Village and Kumasi versions would come on in the next few days.
