Hearts Sack Samuel Boadu… Set To Appoint Expatriate

Samuel Boadu

Intense pressure from management of Accra Hearts of Oak has compelled Samuel Boadu to lay down his tools as the club’s head coach.

The former Medeama SC trainer, 36, succeeded in leading the Phobians to win last two season’s league; ending an over a decade trophy famine.

However, the tide appears boisterous to the reigning FA Cup winner this season; having gone three games without a win, managing two draws and a defeat.

It has emerged that the coach and his backroom staff were asked to distance themselves from the team’s training yesterday.

And indications are that the capital-based club is considering hiring an expatriate to continue from where the young trainer left off.

Nii Noi has been tasked to act as the interim coach.
