I Didn’t Kill My Mother – Maame Serwaa

Maame Serwaa

Actress Maame Serwaa, born Clara Benson, has responded to allegations that she has a hand in her mother’s death.

She stated that she loves her mother so much that she couldn’t have killed her.

Also, she gave the impression she can’t “hurt a fly” and has no means to even take a life, let alone take the life of the woman who gave her life.

Maame Serwaa’s mother, the late Madam Rose Amoateng Benson, died on Thursday, December 7. She was 48.

Reports at the time suggested she was sick for some time before she met her unfortunate death.

But some spiritual persons have alleged that the actress used her mother for sacrifice.

In a YouTube video that trended on social media, a prophetess called Osofo Maame Donkor alleged the actress indirectly murdered her mother and pretended to be shocked at the news of her death.

She claimed that the young actress joined a secret society, thus, using the mother for sacrifice to get a new rank in the group.

However, Maame Serwaa has said on The Delay Show that there is no iota of truth in the claims.

“I have heard that I killed my mother but it is never true. Kill my mum for what? I was accused of killing my mum a few days after she died. The accuser did not even wait for us to finish her one-week memorial service. My family was upset about those allegations and wanted to take up but I asked them to relax. It was alleged that one Osofo Maame came up with the claims. Another pastor also said I was a member of Illuminati. I don’t even know what Illuminati is. I don’t even own a car,’’ she reacted.

Maame Serwaa, however, did not state if she may want to go ahead to use the legal system to further clear her name.
