Contrary to stereotypes associated with Rastafarians, reggae music icon Black Prophet reveals that he has never smoked weed in his entire life.
In an interview with Abeiku Santana on UTV, the artiste who identifies as a Rastafarian, emphasized that smoking is not a part of his lifestyle.
According to him, he has rather a committed vegan for the past 30 years, avoiding not only meat but also abstaining from sweets and other processed foods.
In the interview, Black Prophet urged the public to be mindful of their dietary choices for the sake of their health and longevity.
He emphasized the detrimental effects of certain foods, stating, “Most of the sweets that we eat kill us. For death, everyone will die but some people go before their time due to certain foods that they eat. We must be thoughtful about what goes in and out of our mouths.”
Detailing his vegan lifestyle, he explained, “I have been a vegan for thirty years. I feed on herbs. Not even vegetarian, I don’t eat sugar, milk, fish eggs, or anything. I don’t eat anything.”
