‘I Wasn’t Paid To Endorse Nana Addo’

Prince David-Osei

One of Ghana’s talented award winning actors, Prince David-Osei, has revealed that his “4 more 4 Nana” endorsement was made due to his patriotism to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and not for monetary gain.

The actor, who made this revelation during an interview on TV3 showbiz 360 hosted by MzGee said, “I have been an NPP member since former President Kufuor’s era and declaring my support for the President now should not mean I was paid to do so.”

When asked how the creative art industry has benefited from the Nana Addo-led government, the celebrated actor mentioned that the creative art school in Kwadaso is being constructed by the government to help the youth nurture their talents and produce literate individuals with in-depth knowledge about the industry.

He noted that during the COVID-19 pandemic, government made loans accessible to stakeholders in the creative art business to support their works and produce more of their crafts.

He, however, urged the youth and the vulnerable to support ‘4 more 4 Nana’ campaign to retain the Akufo-Addo-led NPP government for more development.

Prince David Osei during his interview emphatically noted that he has political ambition to join the New Patriotic Party, and will receive any political appointment, even at the expense of his career as an actor.
