KENNEDY AGYAPONG’s ambition to become the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the 2024 national elections is gaining momentum.

The campaign train of the outspoken politician landed in the Ashanti Region some few days ago, and reports indicated that things are going on smoothly for him.

The party delegates, who are considered as the kingmakers in the upcoming elections, are said to have openly embraced his campaign message of hope.

According to reports monitored by the DAILY GUIDE, Kennedy Agyapong has already visited most of the constituencies in the regional capital of Kumasi.

The constituencies the presidential hopeful visited in Kumasi Metropolis to campaign for votes included Asokwa and Manhyia South constituencies.

In separate addresses, he highlighted his sacrifices for the party, starting from the formative years of the NPP till date, and how he continues to support the party.

Kennedy Agyapong, who is the MP for Assin Central, also outlined his vision and determination to help better the lives of the delegates, across the 275 constituencies.

According to him, the delegates are the heartbeat of the NPP, whose toils, sacrifices and hard work always contribute to an electoral victory for the NPP.

In this regard, Kennedy Agyapong said if he is elected to become the NPP flagbearer and eventually Ghana’s president, he would take good care of the delegates.

He also said he is the right person to lead the NPP to achieve its aim of breaking the eight, adding that under his tenure as president, Ghana would transform rapidly.

Meanwhile, some of the delegates that spoke to the paper on condition of anonymity, said they were highly impressed with Kennedy Agyapong’s campaign message.

According to them, Kennedy Agyapong, by his demeanour and campaign message, has what it takes to be a good flagbearer for the NPP and president of the country.

They said Kennedy Agyapong is patriotic, visionary and a development-oriented leader, who, when given the chance, would lead the country to the Promised Land.
