KiDi To Go On North American Tour

Award-winning afrobeat artiste Dennis Nana Dwamena, also known in showbiz as KiDi, is set to embark on a North American tour dubbed “The Golden Boy” from March 1, this year.

The Golden Boy tour, BEATWAVES gathered, will begin in Boston, MA on Wednesday, March 1, and runs until March 19 when the run of shows will conclude at Madam LOU in Seattle.

The tour, which is expected to have KiDi perform some of his favourite songs, promises to be the biggest to ever hit North America, in what is billed to be a historic tour that would see him entertain music fans.

Details of local artistes who would be performing alongside KiDi are yet to be made known.

The tour will serve as a platform for Ghanaians and other African nationals in North America to network and sell Ghana’s music to the rest of the world.

In what is billed to be a historic performance, the afrobeat artiste is expected to deliver nonstop high-energy performance that would see him entertain music fans with all the numerous hit songs.

Credited with award-winning songs such as Touch It’, ‘Blessed’, ‘Thunder’, ‘Enjoyment’, ‘Odo’ and ‘Adiepena’,  KiDi has  worked with a number of local and international artistes.

He has also performed on same platforms with the likes of Sarkodie, Samini, Tiwa Savage, Shatta Wale, Wizkid and Patoranking among others.

Signed to Lynx Entertainment, KiDi announced his presence in the local music scene in July 2017 when he released his hit single titled ‘Odo’.

He won the Highlife Song of the Year for his hit single ‘Odo’ at the 2018 Ghana Music Awards.

Pre-sale of tickets to The Golden Boy North American tour starts on Wednesday, January 11, at 10am local time.
