The maiden edition of the Koforidua Homecoming 2020 which will bring together citizens of Koforidua was officially launched on November 4 at the Tonyx Hotel in Koforidua.
It will serve as a networking and socialisation platform, bringing together all citizens of Koforidua, who will participate in various activities.
Activities lined up for the event include a marathon, trade exhibition fair, gospel rock show, homecoming jam, highlife night and dance, morning thanksgiving, a pool party, and an all-white party to climax the event.
The launch of the maiden edition of the event was graced by Eastern Regional Sports Director, Mrs Gifty Horsu Fianu; Managing Director of ANSOFF Marketing Consult, Mr Kwabena Bediako Antwi-Dako; Chairman for the Local Organising Committee, the media among others.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Free Zones Authority, Mr Michael Okyere Baafi, who was a special guest at the launch, revealed that the Koforidua Homecoming Event is a 360-degrees landmark marketing campaign targeting all citizens of Koforidua.
He indicated that the event seeks to bring people together as well as educate, inform, entertain and also unearth talent in all fields of endeavour. He gave a timeline of how the event has been scheduled.
