Shatta Wale
The “Dancehall King” hit maker, Shatta Wale, visited the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi, last Thursday to begin his one-week media tour in the Ashanti Region.
Shatta Wale, who was met at the airport by teeming fans, was seen spraying money on them as they welcomed him to Kumasi.
The dancehall artiste and his team drove through the principal streets in Kumasi to officially announce his presence in Kumasi.
Shatta Wale acknowledged cheers from fans who had blocked the streets just to catch a glimpse of him and waved at them. Intermittently, he threw money into the crowd gathered to welcome him.
He has so far visited the office of Asaase Radio in Kumasi, Nhyira FM among others.
He will use the opportunity to shoot a music video for his latest ‘Kumerican’ song to boost the ‘Kumerica’ agenda.
