Kojo Junior Bags Master’s Degree

GHANAIAN CONTENT creator and influencer, Kojo Junior, has earned a Master of Arts in Brands and Communications Management from the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).

The achievement marks a significant academic milestone for the award-winning creator, who has successfully combined higher education with a thriving career in digital content creation.

Kojo Junior, whose real name is Peter Kojo Appiadu and hails from Kumasi, is widely regarded as Ghana’s first influencer to use local language – Twi – in content creation.

He rose to prominence during the COVID-19 lockdown after sharing humorous voice notes about his daily life on Twitter (now X).

He is best known for his witty Twi voice-overs, relatable story-telling, and unique blend of culinary skills with cultural commen-tary. His content, which bridges entertainment and food, has resonated strongly with Ghanaian youth.

He is the brain behind the popular monthly cookout series “Kojo Junior and Friends,” which has garnered over 1.5 million views on Tik-Tok. What started as an intimate gathering where he cooked and served friends has grown into a viral platform for celebrity collaborations and music releases, hosting stars such as Gyakie, Olive TheBoy, Dancegod Lloyd, Ko-Jo Cue, Moliy and Mr Drew.
