Burkinabe forward, Songne Yacouba, struck double as Asante Kotoko thumped 10-man Hearts of Oak 2-0 yesterday in the first leg of Double Super Clash tie.
Porcupine Warriors opened the scoring through Yacouba before the break after goalkeeper Ernest Sowah failed to parry away a shot from Prince Acquah.
Yacouba doubled Kotoko’s lead after connecting home a Jordan Opoku pass.
The second leg is fixed for Sunday, September 2, at the same venue.
