Kotoko Vows To Pull Down Pillars

Kjetil Zachariassen

Asante Kotoko Kjetil Zachariassen is convinced they are well prepared for the CAF Champions League game against Kano Pillars.

The coach explained that the four weeks of intensive training was a success and he feels his charges are ready for the battle ahead.

Speaking after the team’s last training at the Accra Academy Park this week, Zachariassen insisted the preparation has gone very well, and he can see the team getting somewhere.

He said, “We have done four weeks of intensive training and at the moment I think we are well prepared before going.
We have the confidence we need in our players because we only facing ourselves and working against ourselves in trying to find our own identity and I can confidently say we are getting somewhere.”

He added, “At the moment we look better and better, we put the pressure on ourselves because we know our quality and we need to fulfill the God-given gift everybody has.”

The game will be the first competitive game of the former Ashgold coach since joining the club in July.
