Kumawood actress Nana Yaa Appiah on Saturday buried her daughter Stephanie Appiah, who died after a short illness.

Stephanie, a 17-year-old student of Kwabenya Senior High School, was reportedly diagnosed with malaria plus and other infections before her unfortunate demise.

In a video from her funeral in circulation, the mother who has been featured in several Kumawood movies was captured in a pensive mood. She was inconsolable as she cried and spoke to her daughter, questioning why she had to depart from this world so unexpectedly and prematurely. She wore an all-white attire for the funeral.

The burial ceremony was attended by close family members, friends, and members of the film industry, who offered their support and condolences to Nana Yaa Appiah.

Actress Vivienne Jill was one of Nana Yaa’s industry friends who were pivotal in consoling her at the funeral.
