Kwesimintsim MP Happy With Voting Process

Dr. Prince Hamid Armah

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Kwesimintsim in the Western Region, Dr. Prince Hamid Armah, cast his ballot at the Obiri Preparatory School ‘B1’ polling centre in the constituency at about 10:40am.

Speaking to the media later, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate said he was happy with the process, and described it as simple and very smooth.

“This election has been generally peaceful. I have seen people conducting themselves in a very civil and democratic manner, and the numbers are very encouraging so far,” he said.

He said he had done enough to merit a second term, and believed that the good people of Kwesimintsim had listened to his message which resonated very well with them.

He also expressed his certainty that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia would win the presidential election massively in the area.

“I am very hopeful that I will also be given a second term by the constituents,” he pointed out.
