Itz Tiffany
Afropop artiste, Itz Tiffany, has said her departure from Off Da Ground Records was a mutual decision and not the result of any disagreement with Fuse ODG.
Speaking in an interview, the singer explained that both sides agreed it was time to move on after working together for two years.
According to her, she decided to step back while the label also wanted to pursue a new direction.
“We did good songs together, and at a point in time, I felt that I wanted to back down, and they also felt that they wanted to move ahead, so I stepped down quietly. There’s no bad blood or anything,” she said.
Tiffany also dismissed rumours of a fallout with the UK-based musician and record label executive, insisting they have always maintained a cordial relationship.
She revealed that the last time they met was at an airport, where they exchanged pleasantries without any issues.
“I think the last time I saw him, I saw him at the airport, and we were cool. There’s no problem at all. Fuse and I never had a problem,” she said.
Fuse ODG signed Itz Tiffany to Off Da Ground Records in 2014, and the pair collaborated on songs including Azonto and Spanner before she left the label in 2016.
After spending several years away from the music scene, Tiffany has returned with new singles, Wura and Money.
