Division One League campaigners Uncle T United FC president, Isaac Tetteh (TT Brothers), has called for massive support for Ghana coach Otto Addo ahead of the FIFA World Cup.
The coach is expected to announce his squad for the forthcoming tournament in Qatar today.
He said the usual criticism that characterises such announcement is expected, but has appealed to football fans to embrace the coach’s list.
To him, the fact that the coach managed a qualification when the bookmakers gave Ghana no chance, especially against rivals Nigeria, attest to the fact that he knows what he is about.
He said the coach, who is also a former player, has what it takes to succeed in Qatar, and so he should be given the necessary support.
“There is no way all of us will agree to the list the coach will announce, but I believe about 70 percent will be ok with his list. When that is achieved, l will plead with all to back the coach with our support.
“The fact that he was able to qualify us alone speaks volumes, l believe he will deliver, let’s rally behind him, let’s support them massively, that alone is positive for the team to soar high.
“I will plead with all to rally behind him as he announces the squad on Monday (today),” he added.
Ghana is housed in Group H with Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
