Madina MP Donates PPEs

Alhaji Abubakar Saddique Boniface

The MP for the Madina Constituency, Alhaji Abubakar Saddique Boniface, has donated personal protection equipment (PPEs) to three healthcare centres in the La-Nkwantanang Municipal Assembly in the Greater Accra Region.

The Madina Polyclinic at Rawlings Circle, Pentecost Hospital otherwise known as Alhpa and Madina Health Centre also known as Kekele received infrared thermometers, safety apparels, nose masks, gloves, gallons of liquid soaps, tissue paper, tissue towels and Veronica Buckets among others.

The MP while making the presentation in the company of the Municipal Chief Executive of the La-Nkwantanang Municipal Assembly, Mrs Jenifer Dede Ajabeng and the constituency executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), said the provision of the PPEs was part of the President’s war against the spread of the virus.

Government, he said, was not relented in its efforts on the compulsory testing of people suspected to be carrying the disease to help contain the spread.

He assured the people of the constituency that all health delivery institutions, private or public, would benefit from the provision of PPEs to assist them in the fight against the coronavirus.

The Ghana Police Service in Madina, various tribal heads and chiefs and transport operators have all benefited from the MP’s initiative to provide some PPEs to help in the fight against the pandemic in the municipality.

On behalf of the managers of the healthcare delivery institutions, Mrs Priscilla Anima, the Health Director of the Madina Health Centre, expressed gratitude to the MP, the MCE and the constituency executives for the gesture.
