John Dramani Mahama, the former President of Ghana and the 2024 presidential candidate for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has met with former Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr. Kwabena Duffour.
The meeting between the two took place at Dr. Duffour’s private residence.

Mr. Mahama highlighted that there is a need for them to focus on common goals and aspirations to build the Ghana they envision together.
He restated his campaign slogan, “Together4Change,” and expressed his confidence that they would emerge victorious in the upcoming elections in 2024.
Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, a former Finance Minister was one of the aspirants who contested against Mr. Mahama for the flagbearer position ahead of the 2020 elections, which Mr. Mahama eventually won.

The meeting with Dr. Duffour is expected to help bridge the gap among these factions and set the tone for a united front among party members.
The development is seen as a significant boost for the NDC and its flagbearer as they prepare for the 2024 election, amidst calls for more aggressive campaigns.
