Mass Burial For Adrobaa Accident Victims

FIVE PUPILS and a driver of DS Elite Academy at Terchire who perished in an accident at Adrobaa when they were travelling to school have been buried after a brief funeral.

They were Aboagye Rusell, 6, Tutu Enock, 4, Ngyemaa Zyoma, 6, Agyeiwaa Twumesi, 12, Okyere Bernard, 8, and the driver of the school bus Kwakye Kwabena Emmanuel, 26.

Parents, guardians, teachers, school authorities, and Tano North district education authorities were at the funeral ceremony to bid farewell to the departed souls.

Parents of the departed children could not hold back their tears but wept uncontrollably. Driver of the accident school bus, Kwakye Kwabena Emmanuel, who also died later at the hospital, was laid beside the school children.

It would be recalled that five pupils of DS Elite Academy, a private basic institution at Techire in the Tano North Municipality of Ahafo Region lost their lives when they were travelling on the school bus from Adrobaa to Terchire.

The owner of the school, Desmond Suwaka, the paper has gathered is still on admission at a health institution after he heard of the accident and collapsed.
