In a response to M.anifest’s recent statement claiming they do not know each other, popular Ghanaian rapper Medikal has clapped back, suggesting M.anifest is dishonest.
During a live studio discussion with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM on December 14, M.anifest, when questioned about his relationship with Medikal, stated, “No, we don’t know each other. There are many people I don’t know. I know of them but I don’t know them.”
However, Medikal promptly rebutted this assertion, expressing disbelief at how friendships can turn into enmities. He tweeted saying, “Funny how best friends quickly transform into enemies, today you don’t know me. Hmm. Sir please, he is lying, we know each other very well, we are musicians.”
Medikal went on to maintain his respect for M.anifest and acknowledged his seniority in the music industry. “I might not be the biggest M.anifest fan, but he is a great rapper,” he remarked.
Meanwhile, showbiz observers have also pointed out what they perceive as Medikal’s ‘hypocrisy,’ citing past subtle jabs he directed at M.anifest.
Specifically, they referenced a 2019 tweet where Medikal claimed that M.anifest and Strongman lack hit songs. The unfolding drama has sparked discussions among fans, keeping the Ghanaian music scene abuzz with speculation.
