Miss Ghana Foundation, Manet Ville Residents Support Akosombo Dam Spillage Victims

Miss Ghana Foundation, led by Beauty With Agbagba Purpose champion Miss Inna Mariam Patty, joined forces with the caring residents of Manet Ville Estates in Spintex to provide relief to victims affected by the destructive floods resulting from the Akosombo Dam  spillage.

On December 12, 2023, the team, alongside notable figures such as Miss Miriam Xorlasi Tordzeagbo (Miss World Ghana 2022), Bright Ofori (Mr. Ghana), Mrs. Emelda Mills Gakpetor (Head Chaperone), and Miss Benedicta Essilfie (EEGL staff), gathered at Oheneyiri’s studios in Kokomlemle, Accra.

The collaborative effort, spearheaded by Oheneyiri Gifty Anti and Miss Inna Patty, aimed to provide practical assistance and compassion to those affected. The donation included fairly used clothing, shoes, textbooks, and a substantial cheque of GHC5820, which will contribute to Gifty Anti’s Happy Feet project for the flood victims.

Miss Inna Mariam Patty expressed the foundation’s commitment to positively impacting lives, emphasizing that unity is their greatest strength in times of crisis.

“Ghana Foundation and the Miss Ghana brand are all about positively impacting lives. That’s what we do best and also in times of crisis, unity becomes our greatest strength. The collaboration between the Miss Ghana Foundation and the residents of Manet Ville Estates exemplifies the power of community when faced with adversity.”

The event highlighted the power of community collaboration in the face of adversity and showcased the importance of collective action to respond to the needs of women and Ghanaians as a whole.

This initiative underscored the Miss Ghana Foundation and its partners’ dedication to making a positive impact, working hand in hand to uplift and rebuild communities affected by natural disasters.
