Fans of stand-up comedy will on December 11 witness a historic comedy show dubbed ‘Popular But Broke’ by Ghana’s most hilarious comedians at the National Theatre in Accra.
The comedy show will be serving comedy fans with sterling never-to-be-forgotten performances.
Being a surprise package for comedy fans this December, organisers have not only promised an evening full of laughter but also fans will enjoy other entertaining packages scheduled for the night.
OB Amponsah, who is the headline act for the show has performed on a number of comedy shows such as Night of Laughs, Easter Comedy Show, and Lord of the Ribs among others.
His popular comedy punch line on social issues as well as his stage drama will make you fall in love with him.
OB Amponsah would be supported by comedians such as Mikki Osei Berko (Master Richard), DKB, Fritz Baffour and a host of others.
Patrons have been promised to expect nothing but “fireworks” from all the comedians billed for the night.
Popular highlife musician, Kwabena Kwabena is also billed to thrill music and comedy fans who will grace the event.
He is expected to thrill fans with songs like Kyere Wo Do, Obo Asa, Kwadede, Aso, Odo Nkoaa, Adult Music, Begye Me Trodom, Adea Waye Me, Fakye Me among others.
‘Popular But Broke’ promises to be that one event where lovers of stand-up comedy will have a lot more to laugh and cheer about.
The organisers however, urged all lovers of comedy, and Ghanaians in general, to make it a point to be at the venue grounds to be entertained, adding that
fans will get value for their money at the show.
