Mireku Duker Appointed Bawumia’s Campaign Coordinator For Mining Communities

In a strategic move ahead of the 2024 elections, the Bawumia Campaign has appointed, George Mireku Duker, MP for Tarkwa-Nsuaem and Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, as its Campaign Coordinator for all Mining Communities.

The appointment, which was announced in a statement signed by Fred Oware, Vice Campaign Chairman of Bawumia for President, is based on Duker’s extensive experience and deep understanding of the mining sector, as well as his commitment to ensuring the success of the campaign.

As Campaign Coordinator for Mining Communities, Duker will be responsible for coordinating all campaign activities directed at miners and mining communities across the country.

This will involve managing teams, coordinating events, and ensuring effective communication within these areas.

The Deputy Minister, Duker will also be tasked with developing and implementing strategies that will effectively communicate the flagbearer’s policies on the mining sector to all relevant stakeholders, including miners, mining companies, traditional leaders, and the wider public.

The objective is to secure widespread support for the flagbearer’s vision for the mining industry.

Furthermore, George Duker’s efforts will aim to secure a significant number of popular votes and parliamentary seats in constituencies with a strong mining presence. Ensuring that the flagbearer’s message resonates well within these communities is key to the campaign’s electoral success.

The appointment of George Duker, a seasoned mining expert and advocate for responsible mining activities, is seen as a strategic move by the Dr. Bawumia Campaign to tap into his expertise and knowledge of the mining sector. His experience as a former miner and his relationships with miners and other stakeholders in the industry make him an ideal candidate for the role.

The Dr. Bawumia Campaign has been actively engaging with mining communities across the country, outlining its vision for the mining industry and seeking the support of miners and other stakeholders.

The appointment of George Duker as Campaign Coordinator for Mining Communities is expected to further strengthen the campaign’s efforts in this area.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the campaign, has been a strong advocate for the development of the mining sector and has outlined several policies and initiatives aimed at transforming the industry and ensuring its sustainable development.
