National Youth Authority (NYA) Boss, Emmanuel Asigri, has stated emphatically that the youth in the country will benefit immensely when the multipurpose sports complex dotted across the country are completed.
At the inspection of the Nyinahin (Ashanti) facility yesterday, the NYA boss expressed gross satisfaction by the level of work.
And to him, the quality of work at all the ten centres is commendable stating that the youth will be the direct beneficiaries.
He told the media after the facility visit that “The contractors are up to the task, we are extremely happy because the youth will benefit from this project.
“In most advanced countries, we have such facilities in high schools aimed at providing platforms for students and the youth. When it is completed, it will improve our participation in local and international competitions.”
He praised government for giving hope to the youth in the country as the facility primarily seeks to unearth sporting talents.
Meanwhile, the Youth and Sports Minister, Isaac Asiamah has praised the NYA boss profusely for his efficiency and commitment to ensuring the smooth running of the ten projects.
