NAB Congratulates New Presby Moderator

Rev. Professor Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante

THE NATIONAL ACCREDITATION Board (NAB) has congratulated Reverend Professor Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante on his election as the new Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG).

In a statement signed by its Executive Secretary, Dr. Kingsley Nyarko, the board expressed joy over his new role and conveyed their felicitations to the clergyman.

The statement read: “The Board received the news of your election with great delight. We take this opportunity to convey our heartfelt congratulations to you and wish you God’s abundant blessings as you assume your new responsibility as the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana”.

The statement added: “We are hopeful that your rich experience in academia and the ecclesiastical arena will be added advantages as you assume your new office”.

In the statement, the executive secretary also expressed hope of a sound leadership under the new Presby Moderator and offered prayers for him, wishing him success in his new office.

He said: “I am persuaded that your leadership will be characterized by wisdom, prayerfulness, patriotism and passion for the development of the nation. We wish you success in your new role”.

Rev. Prof. Mante currently serves on the NAB and has also served on many boards and committees in Ghana and abroad over the past 20 years, including the Presbyterian University College, Presbyterian Women’s College of Education and the World Alliance of Reformed Churches, Geneva, Switzerland.
