Nana AK, a poet, made history when he was adjudged winner of this year’s edition of the TV3 children reality show dubbed, ‘Talented Kidz’.
He managed to beat seven other dazzling kids to emerge the winner of season 11 of the reality show with a cash prize of GH¢10,000, GH¢15,000 educational scholarship from Media General, a one-year full scholarship from Codetrain, GH¢2,000 worth of products from Indomie, a trip abroad sponsored by British Columbia College and products from sponsors.
All eight finalists – Power Pack (Acrobat), Rock Anokye (Rapper), Krobea Band (Music Band), Nana AK (Poet), DJ Spices (DJ), Allo Afro Kid (Dancer), Amoako Mills (Magician) and Stonegal (Musician) brought their A-game, delivering impeccable performances.
After the first round, three contestants – Power Pack (Acrobats), Rock Anokye (Rapper) and Krobea Band (Music Band) were evicted.
The remaining five – Nana AK, DJ Spices, Allo Afro Kid, Amoako Mills, and Stonegal – gave it their all in the second round.
After a heated second round, Nana AK took over the crown from Nakeeyat Sam Dramani (who is also a poet) as the winner of this year’s Talented Kidz reality show.
DJ Spices, who emerged second, took home GH¢7,000 cash, a one-year full scholarship from Codetrain, GH¢1,000 worth of products from Indomie and products from sponsors.
All Afro Kid, who took the third position received GH¢5,000 from Media General, a one-year full scholarship from Codetrain, GH¢500 worth of products from Indomie and products from sponsors.
