Five Electoral areas in the Manhyia South Constituency in the Ashanti Region have each received a brand new tricycle.

The tricycles were donated by the Minister of Education Dr. Matthew Opoku-Prempeh, popularly known as ‘Napo.’

Napo, who is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for a Manhyia South Constituency, reiterated his commitment to improving sanitation in the area.

According to him, the donation of the tricycles is geared towards boosting cleanliness in the constituency.

Speaking during the presentation ceremony, Napo said some people throw garbage indiscriminately in the area.

He said such weird behaviour has the tendency of making the constituency dirty and causing preventable diseases.

Napo said he purchased the tricycles for the electoral areas to improve sanitation.

“We can use the tricycles to clear the garbage from the various electoral areas to the approved dumping sites.”

The Manhyia South lawmaker pledged to work hard to develop the constituency, urging the people to take good care of the tricycles.

Napo revealed that he would serve his people diligently to help improve their lives.
