The National Board for Small Scale Industries (NBSSI) is expected to be renamed the Ghana Enterprises Agency.
Executive Director for NBSSI, Kosi Yankey-Ayeh, made this known to the media at the information ministry on Sunday, June 6, 2021.
According to her, the Agency will be launched on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.
She revealed that the Agency will regulate the micro, small and medium enterprises sector.
Along with the launch of the Agency is the launch of National MSMEs policy in Ghana.
There is also an SMEs support fund of about Ghc 100 million, she announced.
