NDC Holds vigil For Rawlings

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has held a vigil in honour of its founder, late former President Jerry John Rawlings.

The vigil took place on Sunday night, November 15, 2020, at the Obra Spot, Kwame Nkrumah Interchange in Accra.

Among those who attended the vigil were former President John Mahama who is leading the NDC into the 2020 general elections; NDC running mate for the 2020 elections, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang.

Also in attendance were the daughter and son of the late Rawlings, Dr Zanetor Agyemang-Rawlings and Kimathi Rawlings.

Mr Rawlings died from Coronavirus on Thursday, November 12, 2020, at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
