Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II flanked by management and board members of NIB
The National Investment Bank (NIB) has joined scores of mourners to commiserate with Asanteman and Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II during the final funeral rites of the late Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II, the Asantehemaa.
A donation of GH¢50,000.00 and assorted drinks was made to support the performance of the final rites.
Dennis Adjei Dwomoh, a board member and Dr John Kwaku Asamoah, Managing Director, led a delegation to Manhyia Palace to make the donation.
Dr Asamoah said: “We are here to mourn with those who mourn and considering the immense support the bank has, and continues to enjoy in the region, it is imperative that we come over with this token, as a follow up to our earlier visit during the burial of the late queen mother.”
Dr Asamoah added that “NIB has relished some substantial growth in the region, which has culminated into the expansion of our branch network to eight over the period. This, for us is remarkable and we are poised to grow even further, as it will enable us bring quality banking services closer to the people of Ashanti and beyond.”
The sustained growth of NIB in the region, according to Dr Asamoah, would help to support the development of the community.
