Nkansah Boadu Celebrated

THE LEADERSHIP of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Afigya Sekyere East Constituency of the Ashanti Region as well as sympathisers of the party in the constituency have lauded the appointment of Mavis Nkansah Boadu as Deputy Minister of Roads and Highways.

The NPP executive members in the constituency noted that the woman who is also the Member of Parliament for the constituency was appointed by the President in recognition of her hard work, dedication, selfless leadership and humility.

“Your appointment is historic and the people of Afigya Sekyere East Constituency will forever be proud of you. We are blessed to have you as our MP. No wonder many describe you as the “Queen of projects”.

Speaking on behalf of the NPP executive members at an event to celebrate their MP, the Assistant Constituency Secretary, Israel Adu Amoakohene thanked President Akufo-Addo for the appointment of their MP as the Deputy Minister of Roads and Highways.

He expressed the hope that Mavis Nkansah Boadu would excel in her new position and continue to work hard for the prosperity and peace of the nation.

In her brief remarks, District Chief Executive of the area, Catherine Reckling, commended the new Deputy Roads and Highways Minister for lobbying for a lot of projects for the constituency and also actively participating in parliamentary debates.

The DCE also thanked the MP for purchasing a fire tender for the area, which she said would soon be operational to serve the needs of the district.

Catherine Reckling expressed optimism that the MP would work hard to construct roads in the locality, including the Mamponteng and Nsuta communities.
