Dr. Ibrahim Anyars
The Chief Executive Officer of NABCo, Dr. Ibrahim Anyars, has been elected as the Parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Tamale Central constituency.
Dr. Anyars polled 539 votes whiles his contender, Abass Zakaria, garnered 172 votes.
The Tamale Central constituency recorded two rejected votes.
Dr. Anyars in his victory speech, thanked delegates for believing in him.
He called on party supporters to unit and help him capture the Tamale Central seat for the governing NPP come 2020.
