The Ohemaa Mercy’s Ministries and Royalty Music on Monday launched the 2019 edition of her Tehillah Experience at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra.

The Tehillah Experience is one of the biggest spirit-filled gospel concerts on Ghana’s entertainment calendar.

This year’s event will be the sixth of its kind since its inception in 2013. It will come off at the Calvary Temple of the ICGC off the Spintex road in Accra on August 11 from 4:00pm.

Themed ‘The Holy Spirit Experience’, the concert will feature award-winning and anointing performances from Elder Mireku, Joe Mettle, Diana Hamilton, Ceccy Twum and Ohemaa Mercy.

There will also be song ministrations from South Africa’s Lebo Sekaobela, Zimbabwe’s Michael Manhendere, among others.

According to Ohemaa Mercy’s manager, Isaac Twum-Ampofo, the team is preparing spiritually ahead of the concert.

He disclosed that they are having a month’s fasting and prayers to declare themselves spiritually fit for the concert.

He has, therefore, encouraged other Christians and non-Christians to also join the fasting period.

“These days when I ask the youth what is the Holy Spirit, it is so amazing they don’t know anything about the Holy Spirit apart from tongue-speaking, but I want announce to you that tongue speaking is not just what the Holy Spirit stands for. There is more to the Holy Spirit and that is that we are here with on earth with. That is what Jesus left us with and is a significant aspect of our Christian walk with Jesus. If you lose that you profess Jesus with no power,” he indicated about the team’s decision to choose a theme on spirituality.

He believes it is one of the areas Christians have lost focus on.
