Papa Bills
One of Ghana’s most outstanding radio presenters, Papa Bills of Adom FM, has been nominated for the Highlife DJ of the Year award at this year’s edition of the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards.
The event, which is in its 12th year, will take place on November 9, 2024, at the Palms Convention Centre, La Palm Royal Hotel in Accra.
Papa Bills, who is the producer of Adom FM’s drive time show, Ofie Kwanso and the host of Efiada Mbosuo, also secured nominations in the Afrobeat DJ of the Year, Record Promoter of the Year, and Male Radio DJ of the Year.
The Guinness Ghana DJ Awards aims at rewarding hardworking radio and mobile DJs, who have over the years contributed immensely to the growth of the entertainment industry in Ghana.
Powered by Guinness Ghana and Smirnoff, the awards night promises to unite music lovers under one roof to celebrate the achievements of Ghanaian DJs.
Many listeners think Papa Bills has a good chance of taking home three or four trophies, even if there are a number of deserving competitors in those categories.
Papa Bills, who is also a producer as well as DJ, has delighted listeners with his inventive play and presentation over the years. Additionally, he has trained other radio DJs and made a significant impact on the radio DJ scene. He has remained quite consistent in both the way he plays and presents.
In the lead-up to the major event, which will take place at the Palms Convention Centre on November 9, 2024, music enthusiasts and fans can expect an unforgettable experience from Ghanaian DJs, according to the organisers.
