Pastor Kofy
Pastor Kofy has been nominated for the gospel song of the year award category at the fourth edition of the annual Ghana Music Awards (GMA-UK) UK slated for October 5 in London.
The gospel artiste earned the nomination with his popular music video, ‘Holy Spirit’, featuring Efua.
Pastor Kofy is competing with seven other Ghanaian artistes such as Joyce Blessing, Obaapa Christy, Patricia Takyi, MOG, Joe Mettle, Evangelist IK Aning and KODA.
The awards ceremony is being organised to celebrate and appreciate pioneers of Ghanaian music and to reward individuals who, in diverse ways, have raised the standard of Ghanaian music in the country.
Based on his outstanding performance last year, Pastor Kofy was adjudged vibrant male artiste of the year and best praise song of the year at the 2018 edition of the National Gospel Music Awards held in Kumasi in December last year.
Pastor Kofy is best known for his hits like ‘Holy Spirit Come’, ‘It’s Yours’, ‘I Can’t Stop The Praiz’ , among others.
