Popular musician, Patapa, allegedly refused to check into a hotel in Mankessim after alleging that he was treated disrespectfully by a staff member.
A viral video circulating on social media shows the musician engaged in a heated exchange with some individuals at the hotel.
According to reports, the confrontation started after Patapaa took issue with the way a member of staff allegedly treated him.
In the video, Patapaa is heard saying that he would no longer stay at the hotel because of the alleged disrespect.
“I will not sleep here. The people who work in this hotel are disrespectful. Even if someone comes to your hotel and is mentally disturbed but can afford to pay for a room, you should still welcome the person,” he said.
The one-minute, 35-second video also shows hotel staff trying to calm the musician as the situation became tense.
The exact cause of the disagreement remains unclear, and the hotel has not publicly commented on the incident.
