Police Assure Justice For Kaaka

The Ashanti Regional Police Command is assuring citizens in the Ejura community that persons responsible for the murder of social media campaigner, Kaaka Ibrahim Mohammed will be brought to book.
According to a press release signed by the regional police spokesman, Assistant Superintendent of Police Godwin Ahianyo, the police have already begun preliminary investigations, including eyewitness accounts disclosing that Kaaka Ibrahim Mohammed was attacked by one Baba Iddi, his brother, and has since been arrested, arraigned before court and remanded in Police custody assisting in investigations.
The statement also added that a Ministerial Commission has been set up by the Minister for the Interior to investigate the circumstances leading to the ensuing riots and shooting incidents which resulted in the death of two persons and injuries to four others.
“The police appeals to anyone who has information on the incidents to volunteer it to help our investigations”, the statement noted.
