Presidency Has No Car Sticker – Says Veep’s Operations Director

The Director of Operations at the Office of the Vice President, Hajj Sumaila Ibrahim, has rubbished an online story to the effect that the Chinese galamsey queen, En Huang aka Aisha Huang, had a sticker of the presidency on her car.

Speaking to the DAILY GUIDE yesterday, he said, “I am saying on authority that the Presidency does not have an official car sticker and those who have such images are impersonators and should be apprehended by the Police.”

Such stickers as being seen on some cars by persons who have nothing to do with the presidency by way of employment or so should be disregarded, as according to him, there are no such images approved or given out on the authority of the seat of government.

That the Chinese woman is alleged to have joined those with the so-called presidential car sticker on their cars just underscores “my point that it has no official backing and creations of those having them on their vehicles.”

Those who paste the said stickers on their cars with the objective of enjoying some privileges on the road should be questioned by the police, because as he put it, “there is no such thing as presidential car stickers as being used by Aisha Huang and others.”

In a related development, Sumaila told the DAILY GUIDE that a certain young man, Godwin Nayaw Yombu, is being held by the police for defrauding unsuspecting persons under the guise of getting employment in the security services and also arranging for them state auction cars.

He claims to be a staff of the Office of the Vice President.

According to him, the man was arrested by the Airport Police earlier on February 7, 2022, but jumped bail.

“Last Friday, he was arrested in another case of fraud after promising some persons COCOBOD contracts,” the Veep’s Office Director of Operations told DAILY GUIDE. His victims are across the country, but mostly in the North East, Oti, Volta and Greater Accra regions.

“Those who drop the name of the Presidency in this fashion should be reported to the Police for the necessary action,” he added.
